What to Expect

Louise is on site every day. If you call, you'll speak to someone who can actually answer your question, not a call centre or a voicemail system. If you send a message, she'll get back to you directly.

Most people who enquire start with a visit. There's no obligation and no agenda. If you haven't been to the park yet, that's usually where Louise will suggest you start. Come and see it first, and take it from there.

Just Drive Up

You don't need to book in. Louise's first question is always whether you've had a chance to look around the park yet. If you haven't, that's where she'll suggest you start.

Walk the site, get a feel for the pitches, see the river, look at the setting. Most people find that answers a lot of their questions before anyone's said very much at all. There's no sales process waiting for you, no appointment to fill a form around. Just come and see if it's the right place.

How to Find Us

From Sunderland and the North East Coast

Head west on the A690 toward Durham, then continue through Willington. Follow signs toward Stanhope via the A689 through Crook and Wolsingham. From Stanhope, continue west on the A689 toward Eastgate. The park is signed in the village.

From Durham City

Pick up signs toward Crook and Wolsingham via the A690 and A689. Continue along the A689 through Stanhope to Eastgate. Allow around 45 minutes from Durham city centre.

From the A66

Take the B6277 east from Middleton-in-Teesdale, following the road through the upper dale. Eastgate is roughly 12 miles along this route.

When to Come

The park is open from 1 March to 31 October for seasonal statics and winterised units. Residential-spec lodges are on a 12-month licence, so the site has a presence year-round.

You can drive up to have a look at any time without calling ahead. If you want to be sure Louise is available to show you round, a quick call before you set off is worth it, but it's not required.
